RV to Rocky Mountain National Park

Sunshine, Pines, Mountain peaks, lakes are some of Colorado's preview. Another destination for your RV vacation – The Rocky Mountain National Park. The rich scenery of the park typifies the massive grandeur of the Rocky Mountains.

Drive from Denver and the east, take U.S. routes 34 or 36 through Estes Park, Colorado. If you are from west or south, take I-70 to U.S. Rt. 40., then to U.S. Rt.34 through Grand Lake, Colorado. The Trail Ridge Road gives the best view of the Rocky Mountain National Park while it is considered as the highest continuous motorway in the United States. The Road promises a spectacular view and in the early morning when the sun is about to rise.

There are five campgrounds in the Rocky Mountain National Park. All of these campgrounds do not have hookups. However at the Estes Park, there several lodging facilities and campgrounds (which have hookups). You can also access shops and eateries at the downtown area of Estes Park.

Spending in Monte Carlo

Some places are just too cheap to live to but not Monte Carlo, situated in the heart of the Principality of Monaco is often described as "The Jewel in the Crown of the French Riviera". Well known for its casinos, finest hotel and satisfaction guaranteed, mouth watering gourmet dining, world class events, upscale shopping, thriving nightlife and tax friendly business location.

Authors have been writing about expensive cities in the world and never misses Monte Carlo on the list. An annual report have cited Monte Carlo as the most expensive property market in the world for two years in a row. Selling $4,420 per square foot, more than double that of second placed Moscow with $1,937. Monte Carlo's average square feet amounts to $47,578. Indeed not so friendly for the checkbook. Let see, Monte carlo is abundant in sunlight that means more activity for the people thus produces more activity for the economy. So that means we are putting an upward sloping scale on the picture. Also been known as the playground for the rich and famous I guess that gives us another reason.

Finding fine hotels in Monte Carlo is 123 easy, checking in is quick, hotel staff are pleasant and business like, most hotel amenities are free, and not to mention the abundant and delicious buffets that surely pays back your accommodation. 1 and 2 stars can cost you an average of 70-80 euros while 4 and 5 stars ranges about 250-330 euros per night on low seasons. Restaurants are perfect with lots of selection and prices round up to 40 euros converting it to about 56 dollars. A 50 dollar can take you to an expensive resturant in NY, however 40 euros of dining in Monte gives you a three main course meal and a bottle of house wine or equivalent. No wonder that it is able to maintain its reputation and still attracts the world's most talented artists and athletes. Monte Carlo casinos are vibrant filled with entertainment seekers wearing classy dresses and suits.

Grand Prix being the most famous event in Monte is 78 laps on a 3.340 km circuit, racing around the narrow streets of Monte Carlo and La Condamine that includes the famous harbour. This event has started since 1929 and still keeps attracting more and more visitors. It has so much going on aside from the blazing cars that flashes on the street. Party goers crowd the bars with happy faces and so much life even at sun down. Buying a property in Monte can be a total blast from your account but it is difinitely a place to spend your money for an experience you would not want to forget.
Driving Northland (Warkworth to Whangarei)

Driving is as broad as the road unless you know where to drive. Road conditions in new Zealand are excellent so as our Warkworth to Whangarei roadtrip. Angles in Northland are too healthy for the eyes. Luscious forests, long green valleys, breezy beaches, high mountains and nice towns to discover is just an overall awesome i must say. Turning right from Wellsford will take you to the Pakiri Beach, their holiday park introduces all types of accomodation for families, backpackers, short or long stays and just a lot of things to do there. You can spend a cold night on tents too. Pakiri Beach will make your day take time to tour the beach by a horse, fishing off the beach, scuba diving with the pink and orange fishes, or drag yourself on the nearby golf course. After a full day you can pack your things back and hit the highway and head to another beach through the Twin Coast Discovery Highway out to Mangawhai.

Mangawhai is a little seaside village and is like a hidden spot to discover as few people flock to at Mangawhai however it keeps on attracting more people as the days go by. It is another surfer's paradise while being a good spot for kids too. Getting to Mangawhai wouldn't be a regret, aside from an easy access from Pakiri, there's a uniqueness on the tracks to walk by and probably the friendliest diving spot. Charter and recreational fishing boats ply the off shore waters and it would be another good day on the shore. Mangawhai with 5 beautiful beaches within a 10-15 minute drive is as spoiling as a chocolate mountain. Mangawhai restaurants are well catered if you want to have a fine meal. Or you can also drop off at some superettes if driving. If your not done with Pakiri and Mangawhai Follow Waipu's Heritage Trail by feet or by car, follow the coast road south to Waipu Cove, another beach great for swimming, fishing and don't miss - surfing. There are campgrounds here too. Moving on Ruakaka beach awaits returning to SH1 via Waipu or 30km south of Whangarei. Here you can find accomodations close to the beach or campgrounds too. Ruakaka is your gateway to the oil refinery at Marsden Point.

Returning back to SH1 continue driving to the only city in Northland, the Wangarei. Visiting the Wangarei falls would be a good experience for first timers you can see a close up of the falls from standing on the bridge but its not as spectacular as the other falls you'd see in Canada. Don't miss the Clapham's Clock Museum,a renowned teahouse too. Whangarei has a pretty harbor, arts and crafts shops. Going west will take you to Dargaville in less than thirty minutes, your gateway to the Ancient forests of the Kauri Coast which features the Waipoua Forest. That is if you want some forest encounters.
RV for six people

There is a wide range of sights and destinations that awaits your RV (campervan, motorhome) in US. With its array of diverse National Parks especially the Grand Canyon, the wilderness, the vibrant cities and the crystal like seas. United States has certainly something for everyone. Whether you spend a holiday with your friends or family it will always be something that will bring the bond closer and gives you something you don't expect to see or experience. How can you call it dull when you wake up with the sound of the breeze, eat lunch beside the trees, or dine in a different atmosphere everyday. Our vehicle from Campertravel was something that we needed, perfect for six people with power steering and cruise control making it easier to cruise the road. There are other vehicles to choose at

RV hire usa. It wasn't that expensive as I thought, I told Dad that he could have paid more for taking us to the hotels and would have been inconvenient to pack and unpack our luggages. Which was certainly something that was obvious.

So we rented out a cool vehicle with toilet and shower. AM/FM radio and CD was a good thing but I was thankful that I brought my ipod so I get rid of my Dad's oldies. It was great that we can eat outside the vehicle with soothing air but our dinette table inside the vehicle was great we can see green views outside while sitting on a comfortable seat and enjoying our meals from the grill. So of course the Grand Canyon was simply amazing especially at the South Rim that expresses different attitudes. If you could catch up early you should see a good sunrise from Desert View still on the south rim.
Go Camping

If you are so excited about camping and just go your way out to the woods, It will be a disaster. Planning is crucial. It would be a lot of fun if you Know the place and know what to bring. If you are a beginner it is suggested that you pick a safer place, perhaps an established campground so when things go wrong you can easily catch your self to a place where you can ask for help. Or a place where there is signal to notify anyone in case of an emergency. If you are the type of person who would want to have en encounter with some creatures then you should know better. Consider the weather, you wouldn't want to stay under your tent under the rain's torture. And you wouldnt to produce a campfire inside your tent. Don't start your campfire anywhere, consider the direction of the wind and settle your campfire away from your tent. Develop a list of things to bring, it is better to be organized that be a total mess. After all it is not a bad idea to write down the things you need. Some campgrounds offer camping equipments so you do not have to bring as much as your back can carry. Of course you'd have to rent it. The most important thing to carry aside from your tent is an emergency kit. Campers are hikers too, observe wearing clothes that will protect your skin against bruises, insect bites and snakes. Camping is the best way to be independent and it's like having the total independence over a large backyard. Preparing meals can sometimes eat a lot of your time so do prepare foods that are easy to prepare while having it heavy on the stomach. There have been incidents that you may encounter campers who may be rude and probably would want to have some fun their own way. So most of the time it is advisable that you let somebody know about your camping whereabouts.
Campervans: Hello to a great trip

Who wouldn't want a vacation? After all
it is a prize that is packed with fun or reward after those days of
workloads. United States, New Zealand, Australia and united kingdom
are countries where campervanning or campervan rental has been the
conventional concept of camping and experiencing the scenic beauty of
nature and places that possess heavy concentration of historical
architectures.

Campervan is synonymous to Motorhome
and RV In New-Zealand and United States respectively. It is a
motorvan vehicle that carries the comforts of home and provides the
advantages of traveling with apparels and equipments. A campervan
usually comes with bed/beds, toilet and bath (if you choose to), a
dinette section, fridge and a kitchen to cook for food (include
kitchen utensils), Radio, CD player, and air conditioned. Some
campervans are well equipped, thus include extra comforts such as
microwave, television, oven/grill, heater, and a portable tent.

Except for the make/model, these travel
buddies vary indeed according to the comforts that it can provide and
the size/ capacity of the vehicle. Campervans are built to
accommodate 2 people, 4 people and 6 people. Transmission may be
manual / automatic, modern campervan vehicles have power steerings.

I have had traveled with peers so it
really saves us a lot that the cost of the net rental is fractioned
to 5 or 6 of us. The more the merrier they say. However if the budget
is that serious on your travel, you would be able to save a lot by
eliminating T & B from your rental. Base on my experiences you
won't be needing a T & B if you are planning to explore resort
after resort. And another thing when the campgrounds or the caravan
parks have such amenities. Nonetheless if you're traveling about six
hours or more on some of your destinations then you should think
twice.

US to Canada RVing

It
is always wiser doing some research before traveling. A little
research for the ease and getting that perfect vacation. Like the
case of Crossing Canada, officers at the border would as much as
possible make the inspection fast and smooth. So if you really need
that trip to Canada make sure you know what you SHOULD know.

Follow
the lanes. If there are no lanes for the RV, take the Bus lane or the
truck lane, but bear with the slow moving on the truck's lane. Some
Rvs are too big and would be too wide for the car or bus lane its
most likely that the mirrors are located on side.Always have an
identification ready with you. If you are a US citizen you won't need
a passport. The rest make sure to have it. US citizens are instead
required to show proof of citizenship. Kids as well. RV registration
cards should be carried with you if you own it. However if you rented
it, you should bring valid documentations from your rental company.

Cigarettes
anyone? If you are 18 years and older you can carry 100 cigars except
Cuban cigars, 200 grams of tobacco and or 200 sticks of tobacco. How
about alcohols? Alcohols to bring are limited. Wine should not be
more than 1.5 liters, not more than 1 liter of liquor.

If
you are bringing pets with you, make sure that they have a
certificate and the owner must be present. And that your animal buddy
should have had taken vaccinations issued by a licensed veterinarian.
If you are bringing equipments with you make sure that you declare it
at the customs so you won't have problem bringing them back into the
US or to justify that you originally bought it in the US. The same
goes with the firearms. And of course it is illegal to import
firearms into Canada. Or when going back to the US.

When
returning back to US from Canada, you would be going back to the same
procedure. Remember the lanes you should take. Make sure to have a
list of your purchases so receipts would be the best documents for
proof. Take note that if you've stayed in Canada for over 48 hours,
you may return back to US without duty or tax bringing $400 (based on
fair retail value in Canada) worth of articles for personal or
household use. If less than 48 hours, the maximum is $200. Also
considered duty-free are 100 non-Cuban cigars, one liter of alcohol
and one carton of cigarettes.

A
little bad news for vegetarians though, it is recommended that you
don't bring fresh fruits, vegetables or meat into the United States.
If you would be, contact APHIS (Animal and Plant Inspection Service)
and get a copy of Traveler's Tips, which lists what you can and can't
bring and also items for which you'll need a permit. Unprocessed
plant products, cuttings, seeds and some endangered species that may
be allowed in th US would need to have import permits. Pets are
allowed in the US but then again they should be accompanied by the
owner, and vaccinations complete issued by a licensed veterinarian.

On the way on Winter

Anyone who travels would rather choose to roam during the sunny or rainy season, and least during the winter. Last year we took a flight from Australia to New Zealand to utilize a two week vacation. We enjoyed two nights of parties in Queenstown. We departed from Queenstown for a seven-day roadtrip to Christchurch via Mount Cook. Winter was gripping the town with snow so chances of getting an accident is substantially increased. But a motorhome vehicle can tackle the weather although a little adjustment on the pace should be taken, and some other safety precautions. Our experience in Christchurch was a snowmania. Slopes were just amzing for skiing and snowboarding.
